I grew up in the Fort Wayne, Indiana area and, after finishing high school, spent about a decade living in Virginia and North Carolina before returning home. I earned my MA degree in Communicative Sciences and Disorders, which laid the foundation for my lifelong passion for living with purpose and helping others communicate, grow, and reach their potential.
In 2005, I made a major career shift and launched my own insurance agency with a large mutual insurance company. Over the next 16 years, I mentored and led a dedicated team of three and worked closely with clients to protect what mattered most to them. In 2021, I stepped into a Sales District Leader role, where I had the privilege of recruiting and partnering with agency business owners across Northeast Indiana—helping them serve as true “dream protectors” in their communities.
My experiences as a mentor, manager, leader, and business coach inspired me to launch Career 3.0 and join The Entrepreneur’s Source as a Career Ownership Coach. Today, I help individuals in career transition gain clarity, identify their transferable skills, and explore alternative career paths that offer more control, flexibility, and fulfillment than traditional corporate roles.
